During Children’s Liturgy of the Word, also known as CLOW, children in grades K-5 are dismissed from the assembly following the opening prayers to the church hall, where the readings and Gospel are proclaimed and then reflectd upon in a way that is accessible for our young parishioners. They return to the church during the time of the Presentation of the Gifts. Parents are welcome to attend, but must attend with children age 4 and under.
Due to the coronavirus CLOW is offered on Facebook live Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Please contact Tom for additional information.
Children, along with a parent, typicallylly begin the preparation program for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist (Communion) in the fall of their second grade school year. Preparation for theses sacraments occurs alongside the participation of parent and child.

Through a combination of in person and virtual gatherings, children and their parents will gather together with our program leaders to discover God through the scripture and learn real-world lessons about following in Jesus' footsteps by loving one another and caring for the least among us.
